Campbell Family

Am I the snobby Christchucrcher that has always thought of Dunedin as dreary and wet? (Much the way I thought of England when I was a kid). Well… I apologise for that RIGHT NOW!!! Because last week on my trip to Dunedin to see a friend and meeting the Campbell Family where they took me to a secret possibly not so secret spot not far from Brighton. Well holy moley did my view change on the place.
Epic blue skies, a crazy awesome sand dune to jump off and a family who was all to willing to do so. I am now officially, if only on the border before… in LOVE with Dunners.

Sanae, Mum of 3 boys contacted me not long before my planned trip and said ‘I’d love for you to bring some of our crazy to the photographs’ … you had me at Hello Sanae. :o)

Foster, Lauchlan and Magnus are 3 super awesome brothers.

We found out soon enough that Mum jumping in a skirt was just NOT.GOING.TO.WORK! lol

But doesn’t mean the kids can’t do it over and over again! (Even I got a big jump in).

They’re a good looking family! …

Hmmm… perhaps not?

They are most certainly a FUN family. Ones who do not sit still! I love it!

Big bro Foster told guns of steel Lauchlan that the way to help a natural smile is to make yourself do a fake laugh. Now Lauchlan just does a butt wiggle and he’s away laughing. lol.

From beginning to end there was smiling, laughing, running, jumping, a little bit of crazy and A LOT of amazing madness! Thank you guys for amazing afternoon. You are a truly awesome family and I hope we get to meet again soon!

Sarah & Jeremy {Engaged}

Sarah and Jeremy. They tell me they’re a little shy in front of the camera.

And although that may be true. They have each other to hang onto.

After meeting 5 and half years ago at the tender age of 19. You can’t deny that a lot of personal changes can happen in your early 20′s. People change. People grow. But when you still laugh together, smile together and still want to be around each other to the point of marriage. Then we are most certainly on the right track.

Christchurcher’s at heart, they now live in the big smoke of Auckland. And what day did we decide to have our engagement shoot in the center of the city? Yip you guessed it! It felt a little weird being in Cashel Mall, so we ditched it and went and found some grass!

Sarah loves bows. I love that she loves bows. She even had bows on her jandels! :-D

Oh my word. GORGEOUS!!!

I like this. I like this A LOT!

And with 3 days til their wedding, can you blame them for not having their feet on the ground?!

CAN’T WAIT for Saturday guys. It’s going to be a fab day! Get that beauty sleep and we’ll see you reaaaal soon! :)

Amanda & Michael {Married}

We are all a little weird and

It was finally here. When I first lay eyes on Amanda and Mike and saw them so intertwined in each other (not to mention Amanda was decked in purple, our mutually favourite colour ;-) I just couldn’t wait for their wedding day. They are one of those couples where you look at them and say to yourself. ‘Yip, that’s True Love right there!’

Amanda and Mike chose not to have a bridal party. All they wanted was their best friend and Mike’s ‘Best Woman’, Rayleen. Ray was a rock of support all through the day.

Amanda is all ready and beautiful and Ray goes to join Mike.

Then I was left in a beautiful garden with an absolutely beautiful bride and all this gorgeous time on our hands.

Seriously, Amanda… WOW doesn’t even cut it!

While Amanda and I chatted and played a game of Hangman. This is the name of the poem to be read at the ceremony.

And then it was time to become Mrs Crofts.

The bride is a comin and the cameras are ready.

And then Mike doesn’t wipe that smile for the rest of the day.

Husband and Wife.

They exchange a rose as their gift to one another.

And Mike doesn’t stop kissing his new wife.

Their gorgeous nephew and nieces give her horseshoes. And hugs.

The new Mr and Mrs Crofts. I think they’re slightly stoked!

Then I found my competition. She knew what she was doing! :-)

The gorgeous Newbery Lodge. A perfect setting.

This is the picture of ‘happy ever after’.

And Doug caught some sneaky romance.

Now they’re off to buy a lotto ticket. It’s a lucky day!

And the shop owners wouldn’t let them pay! As they wished them luck and congratulations!

Did we see red earlier? There were two very different and very amazing cars at this wedding!

What.a.day. What an amaaaaazing day! We laughed so much. You guys are totally amazing and we are so happy we were able to capture the crazy fun love you share. I hope after wedding concert (Pink Floyd) was amazing and enjoy your honeymoon! I can’t wait to show you the rest! See you both reaaaal soon! :) xoxo
