They’ve known each since their early teens. They got together in their early 20′s… and just shy of 2 years ago… John got down on one knee right in front his future fiances misty eyed mother and a cheshire cat smiling sister to ask Nicole’s hand in marriage.
Nicole and John are infectious. The kind of people you just want to hang out with all the time. And funnily enough, this week we did… Twice. First came the stop motion (at the end of this blog) and then came their engagement photos. Different day, different beach, different weather… same awesome couple!!!
They are just so chilled and relaxed, and their zest for life, love and each other doesn’t go unnoticed!
Mmmmm the clouds and the light were playing cool games!
I promise to keep the shoots relatively dry from now on!!! Doug’s finding it hilarious though how I come in from a shoot each time these days completely soaked up to my chest and covered in sand!! Good fun!! hehe
And here is their stop motion from earlier in the week! … Thanks so much for a FABULOUS time you guys. So can’t wait for your November wedding!!! Catch you soooon!

The Raspberry Cafe. It’s as sweet as it sounds …. And you know what’s even sweeter? … The couple you’re about to meet…
Meet Katie & Brook. In just 6 short weeks they take the leaps and bounds into marriage! And they couldn’t be more excited!
Considering Brook was a tad camera shy… I love how romantic he is with Katie.
And I think it’s a no brainer, that Katie is going to make a STUNNING bride!
See you in 6 weeks guys. It’s going to be an amazing day and we can’t wait to capture it! :)
Meet Amber and Pete. I met Amber way back when we were both working a job and in pursuit of our current careers today. I remember when her and Pete got together too somewhat 6 years ago. So when they came to me for their Wedding Day Photography… I couldn’t have been more thrilled!
They’ve already started their wee family. And it starts with Lucy. She’s stinky but they love her!
Sunlight delight. You two are gorgeous!
And I must say it’s almost time I get some underwater housing for my camera before it becomes a statistic… If I don’t go home from a beach shoot wet… then I’m rather disappointed. lol. I think we did well today though!
Thanks for such a chilled and gorgeous afternoon at the beach guys. So excited for the big day! See you in a month! :)
