Angela & Craig {Married} Part 1

April. The heart of Autumn here in the Southern Hemisphere. Reds, Oranges and Yellows come out to play. And child or adult a like…. it’s the MOST FUN to kick around in. … So just imagine a WEDDING in Autumn. Oh it’s good fun and soooo pretty!

13. It’s their special number. Some deem it bad luck? … not for Angela and Craig. They took that number 13 and they are turning it into all sorts of awesome for themselves.
They met and fell in love 13 years ago. Today is the 13th of April 2013. And they are getting married at 13.00 o’clock. They are both so excited, and we couldn’t be happier to be here to join in and capture all the fun and crazy excitement!

I entered such a light, fluffy and calm atmosphere. Where little sister was keeping the bride calm and collected. And they played such clapping games like when they were kids.

Just practicing. The trumpet is a theme throughout the day with any announcements! .. hehe I’m a sucker for Trumpets.. they are pretty cool!

Aw Ange, you are a gorgeous girl inside and out! Your groom is going to be absolutely wrapped.

I thought this was super clever. Cufflinks to keep her groom in ‘Control’ for today.. before they ‘Escape’ to Rarotonga!! Brilliant! :)

You’re just a big kid with a huge heart Craig. And might I say.. you scrub up so handsomely! Your bride will be stoked!! :)

In a wee park in Opawa. The Autumn leaves were falling all around. The air was slightly crisp with a very gentle breeze to let you know… sure enough.. it’s Autumn baby!

The best woman shows us her kiwi ingenuity. And her snazzy nails!

Through heartfelt declarations, a few cute and cheeky moments. They are finally… after 13 years… declared man and wife. …You may kiss your bride Craig!

91 year old Nana, sitting with her lovely 91 year husband of more than 60 years… is here to join in on the festivities…she smiled at me all day! I looooved it!

Craig and Angela were so into their photos… not very often am I allocated 3 hours for several juicy locations and time galore to relax and just take our time without rushing… it was total bliss.

Oh you beautiful beautiful person you! You just rocked it through and through Ange!

But then again… so did your blue steel husband!! :)

Then off to one of my favourite places… Our Botanical Gardens… Oh I love it here! Can you see why?

‘Who’s the man? I’m the man?! She’s the man! We’re alllll the man!’ …. Well I’m assuming that was the conversation considering I can’t quite remember! lol

It’s getting to the point now where Doug’s frikin AWESOME side shooting is making me a little jealous. He gets all those juicy side on shots which they don’t always know he’s taking. Oh the compeition is on…it’s on like Donkey Kong… hehe, healthy competition of course. He keeps me fresh! He keeps pushing me to new limits! I love this shot of Doug’s.

3 hours later and they are still on fire. You guys were the most fun!

As taken. Doug likes to know what the world is like upside down! hehe.

Back to Newbery Lodge for the reception.

Angela and Craig. What a day. A day worth waiting 13 years for. It was incredible from beginning to end and assss you can tell.. spending the day with you was THE MOST FUN and we wish you 13 + 13 + 13 + 13 + 13 more happy years together!

Genaea & Dean {Married} Part 1

They were set up on a blind date. That was meant to be on the Sunday. They bought it forward to the Friday and 6 weeks later Genaea moved in with Dean to the Heathcote Valley Inn Tavern which Dean owns. Geanaea said it was better to find out sooner rather than later whether it was going to work. And work it has indeed. Because 1 year on exactly to the date… They wed with massive smiles on their faces on the very steps of the pub they now both own.

Meet Dean’s son and best man, Jack. Jack played a huge part in their day! He was the only man for the ‘best man’ role!

Upstairs from the Tavern in their apartment, Genaea is looking gorgeous.

Yummy noises were being made with these shoes!!!

A couple of friends were trying to get a peek of the bride… and although she looked gorgeous in that white towel… the white dress will look even better! ;-)

See? … We left the Tavern and went into the Valley to a tree lined lane to meet up with the men for some photos before the ceremony.

And here is the happy groom himself.

Genaea and her girls looked amazing!

I’m guessing the girls told Genaea she’s getting married in a couple of hours? hehe.

Some locals were kind enough to let us use their property. Mmmmm so pretty! (Not to mention damn hot in there!)

Dean and his number 1 man!

I love this. Not only does Genaea look drop dead gorgeous, but Dean looks like the luckiest guy in the world! I am happy their blind date worked out!!!

Did I mention Dean is a bit of a clown? He definitely makes Genaea laugh and if you can find someone that makes you laugh. I reckon you’ve hit the jackpot!
