Missed out on these two cute love birds tying the knot?… Follow me back to PART 1
Craig and Angela were so into their photos… not very often am I allocated 3 hours for several juicy locations and time galore to relax and just take our time without rushing… it was total bliss.
Oh you beautiful beautiful person you! You just rocked it through and through Ange!
But then again… so did your blue steel husband!! :)
Then off to one of my favourite places… Our Botanical Gardens… Oh I love it here! Can you see why?
‘Who’s the man? I’m the man?! She’s the man! We’re alllll the man!’ …. Well I’m assuming that was the conversation considering I can’t quite remember! lol
It’s getting to the point now where Doug’s frikin AWESOME side shooting is making me a little jealous. He gets all those juicy side on shots which they don’t always know he’s taking. Oh the compeition is on…it’s on like Donkey Kong… hehe, healthy competition of course. He keeps me fresh! He keeps pushing me to new limits! I love this shot of Doug’s.
3 hours later and they are still on fire. You guys were the most fun!
As taken. Doug likes to know what the world is like upside down! hehe.
Back to Newbery Lodge for the reception.
This is Doug. Doug certainly gets a mention. You met his wife earlier… We love meeting new Dougs!
Angela and Craig. What a day. A day worth waiting 13 years for. It was incredible from beginning to end and assss you can tell.. spending the day with you was THE MOST FUN and we wish you 13 + 13 + 13 + 13 + 13 more happy years together!
Congratulations once again!!
Heather and Doug xo
Meet Emma and Brendon. They are getting married on Saturday! ….
They are both Court Jesters and perform in a show called Scared Scriptless… acting on the spot is their thing, they’re a little bit silly! And I LOVE it.
I am so looking forward to Saturday. Emma has made her own dress with a bit of help! Woman of many talents this one!
And then… and then something great happened … Emma suggested the sprinkler!!!! Ok ok… picture it…. lovely summer evening… back lit through the trees…. sprinkler drops AND a romanrtic couple acting out the Notebook scene! …. PHOTOGRAPHERS HEAVEN I MUST EMPHASIZE!
Oh and the sprinkler was right beside the pond. The commitment was there …
And Heavenly goodness was right around the corner.
Emma and Brendon, thanks for a fabulous summers evening splashing in the Botanics. So looking forward to Saturday, it’s going to be amazing! xo
The 6th day of Winter. And something magical happened…
Snow fell. And a snowy engagement took place…
…With Sharon & Tony.
Two people that have a love for walking, trekking, the mountains and… snow!
The love of all these things had Tony proposing to Sharon on the side of a snowy Mountain in the Mt Cook range one fine August day 2011.
Comes snow, comes a snowball…
…to the head.
They know how to have a lot of fun together. I really truly didn’t believe the weather man when he said snow was a comin. But it did … Thank you Facebook, because one call out to shoot an engagement and suddenly Sharon, Tony, Doug and myself are running run Hagley Park.
I found out just how wonderful they are together!
And -cough cough- we borrowed a snowman! His name is Stewart and likes long walks along the beach. Bummer, that’s like a someone being allergic to peanuts and loving peanut butter!
And I am still to mention just how pretty it all was.
Thanks so much Sharon and Tony for taking me up on my offer and coming and having a lot of soaking wet and snowy fun with us! So looking forward to your September wedding! :)
