Meet the lovely Rachel and Chris. They are both teachers… so when the new ‘hot student teacher’ walked into the school Rachel was working at here in Christchurch. She just wanted to know more about and more and more about him.
Rachel just needed to get to know him a little more and ‘stalked’ him on Facebook. I always say ‘New age stalking GOOD, old age stalking BAAAAAD’. So if Facebook is the way to find out whether they are in a relationship or not… then by all means.
Not too long after that they had their first date, starting hanging out and became inseparable. And soon after the 2010 September Earthquake, they moved in together.
Now they are planning their September 2013 wedding… and we couldn’t be more excited to capture it.
Chris and Rachel moved to Wellington at the beginning of the year for work. So this Sunday just been, I nipped up to wet and wonderful Wellington to experience a slice of their life in the Capital.
With their crazy awesome energetic dog Jose!(Hoe-zey).
Who says you can’t have fun in the rain??
Rain just makes things soooooooo romantic!!
Full of fun these two!!
But that’s not to say that being dry isn’t romantic too… so boots half filled with water.. we went and had a beer, cider and played board games in the warmth of Wellingtons Brewbar.
Rachel and Chris. September 28th is just around the corner… I can’t waaaait to see you as the gorgeous bride you’ll be Rachel. And Chris I reckon you’ll scrub up alright too! ;-) hehe… Soooo can’t wait! Happy planning until then! :)
I’ve been waiting to meet the Wilson family what feels like FOREVER! .. This wonderful family, Rebecca, Nigel, Maddie and Riley came all the way from Fairlie for their family shoot. Even with the chance of rain!…All I wanted to do was hug them!! … (So I did hehe) …
And I liked them straight away. Such wonderful happy people with hearts of gold.
I call this… ‘Maddie’s Magic’! :)
And Yip, we went to the BIGGEST tree in the Botanics! .. What can I say? .. it’s my fave!! :)
I love a smiling face throughout a rainy day!
Mum and Dad snuck in a few cosy photos too.
And they seemed like the funny face type of family!! … I think I would be correct! Especially with the amount of fun we had throughout our soggy stroll through the gardens!
Thank you so much for a great afternoon guys. Was so awesome meeting you all and I can’t wait to show you a few more! :)
Take a quiet, magical feeling forest. A beautiful family with a heart of gold. And you’ve got the dream afternoon … even if that dark ominous Southerly cloud was looming. With a great family… everything seems bright! :)
Angela is a Christchurch Photographer too. She runs God’s True Beauty Photography … Go on.. check out her work…. She is wonderfuuul!
And might I add in… doesn’t she look incredible?? .. Hubby of 10 years, Richard scrubs up pretty good too! ;-)
Ahhhh the romance. So beautiful.
I can’t wait to show you a few more guys. Thanks so much for such a wonderful afternoon. Your family is 100% gorgeous!!
