Nicky & Andy {Married} Part 1

Nicky and Andy… where do I start?
… Do I start with how gorgeous you are? … Do I start with how genuine and heart felt you are? … Do I start with how loving, humbled and down to earth you both are? … Or do I start with your cheeky, fun loving nature? … I have no idea! No particular quality need be at the top of the list. Because every single one of these things makes up the truly wonderful people you are! The salt of the earth kind.

Back in October I captured their love in their super cute engagement shoot. And I told the story of how Little Mr Swan asked Little Miss Trotter to become his Little Mrs Swan. That day is here. January 4th 2014, the day that two become one.

This felt like a fairytale wedding for me. The ‘Tangled’ kind. And how funny considering I walked into Nicky’s home where she grew up… and there they all were… watching Tangled. The cartoon fan I am was a liilllll bit excited! It was going to be a GREAT day! (Regardless of cartoons however lol)

Probably the most attention these shoes got all day. Nicky kicked them off to have her toes between the grass whenever she had the chance! … This girl is great!!

Nicky and Andy met back in the UK. It was so great to have so many come from so far. Including one of Nicky’s lovely Bridesmaids.

Phil and Carol are the proud parents. I’ve already seen them watch their eldest son get married as we captured Loveleen & Josh’s wedding back in 2012. And now their only daughter is getting married…

Over at Andy’s station. Things are suuuuper chilled. Little bit of nibbles… cups of tea – you know.. as the English do!! :D

I think I just fell in love!

The men head over the Omaka Scout Camp where the day was taking place! This is the place Nicky was baptized as a child. So this is ultra special!

A tear for a tear…

My heart was banging with love inside my chest throughout the entire ceremony. With looks of endearment exchanged so regularly between Andy and Nicky. Beautiful readings. Messages of wisdom and encouragement.
My heart grew in size this day.
